Papamoa Plaza - Roof Access Project
After years of relying on deteriorating timber walkways, Papamoa Plaza took the step to modernise their roof access system. Partnering with High Level Solutions and Boundless Access, the old routes were replaced with Monkey Toe walkways and access ladders, creating safe, permanent paths to key roof areas.
This upgrade not only enhances safety but also streamlines movement across the roof, reducing travel time for maintenance teams and making routine checks faster and more efficient. By combining innovative access solutions with a focus on safety and efficiency, the project demonstrates how smart planning can transform everyday operations — keeping both people and infrastructure protected.

The new Monkey Toe walkway sits alongside the existing timber structure, which remains in place. Its position near the skylights highlights the original system’s limited height safety considerations and the potential fall hazards that were present.
